Next Line Catalyst

A conversation in which everyone agrees on the ‘next line’ of a collaboratively written story! Follow these steps:

Step 1: choose and read a story:

Step 2: select one person to be the ‘scribe’ for the story being created

Step 3: select one person to start and they suggest the ‘next line’ of the story. Every person in the group then ‘votes’ on their suggestion with one of the following responses: 

  • Agree i.e. it’s great… love it
  • Accept i.e. it’s OK… can live with it
  • Reject i.e. no way… don’t like it

If there are any rejections… the suggestion has to be rejected and play moves onto the next person who suggests the ‘next line’.  

If all agree and/or accept… the suggestion becomes the ‘next line’ and play moves onto the next person who suggests the next ‘next line’.
